my eight random facts....for ash :)

Ash tagged me on her blog so i'm doing it for her...at 6:30 in the morning :)...i'm not all here, but i have the time right now :)

My eight random facts and/or habits:

1. I just really realized yesterday during coffee with my amazing mentor that i am a very visual person. For example, when i read, what's happening in the book is playing in my head like a movie---hence, when i'm really into a book i often times don't hear when people are talking to me.---and i thought everyone did this, but apparently that's not the case.---that's also the reason why i often times have trouble getting through nonfiction books

2. i HAVE to sleep with the fan on. it's all about the noise and the moving air---and the snuggliness (yes i realize that's not a word) in my covers

3. ummmmm i love poetry by emily dickinson---i love poetry in general, but i wrote a paper on emily dickinson poetry last semester and found out that she died exactly 100 years to the day of my birth....meaning she died on my birthday (may 15th) 1886---creeeeeeepy

4. i work in the fitness center, but i don't remember the last time i worked out...ha yeah, not good.

5. i've cried more since january than i'm pretty sure i have in my life put together...which is a good thing bc God is breaking me down

6. my spiritual birthday is July 1, 2007 :)

7. i have this weird connection with music. (maybe it's not weird...i don't know) for some reason, a lot of my memories are linked to songs in weird ways. like, every time i hear certain songs by Edwin McCain, i can see myself where i listened to that cd for the first time.---first time - in the car with my dad---then all on our last family vacation to minnesota---i stayed awake laying on my bed listening to it on my portable cd player---
-and it can get more specific than that...

8. i'm beyond excited about the movie August Rush to come out--bc it's about music--(see #7)---and bc i teared up in the preview (see #5)


i don't know eight people who have a blog---so i'm going to hypothetically tag people i wish had blogs: leah, mom, dad, brother, lara, meagan, robin, lindsay s., AG---that's 9---oh well.
